PERSONAL STATEMENT
Phil Brick is a trial attorney at BBK with a focus on school district litigation, education law, and general civil litigation. Phil began practicing law in 2009, and prior to joining BBK in 2023, spent thirteen years with a Little Rock civil defense firm, primarily handling personal injury defense litigation, products liability litigation, and business litigation.
At BBK, Phil regularly represents school districts in litigation and as general counsel, advising in the areas of employment matters, contracts, civil rights law, and public board governance. He also provides legal training to various education groups.
Phil is active in the firm’s representation of school clients across the state, routinely handling administrative hearings including employment matters, disciplinary matters, and special education disputes.
Phil regularly practices in state and federal court and has tried numerous jury trials to verdict. He also has an appellate practice, having previously handled appeals before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, Arkansas Supreme Court, and Arkansas Court of Appeals.
When out of the office, Phil is active with his family and enjoys traveling. Phil and Megan have been married since 2014 and have two young children: Phillip and Ruth.
